The later the serial number, in general the more it costs to buy on the open market. There is nothing magical about the later serial number decks, they just normally have less hours of run time and less hours of existence than older ones. Why is that hard to understand or confusing? I'm not being an ass, I'm trying to give some advice that may prevent some problems and disappointment later on. All things being equal, a much later serial number deck (say above 20000) will have less problems and less wear than a deck that is 8-10 years older.
